Due to the increased travel of the OME suspension kit, the front drive shaft can contact the front OEM chassis cross member at full droop. Therefore, the ARB Fabrication team have developed a complete cross member replacement kit which uses the original OEM fasteners and mounting location. This upgrade provides a great solution and is recommended for any Suzuki Jimny MY18+ that has a lifted suspension system.

Development

Careful analysis of the Suzuki Jimny OEM chassis and cross member was performed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure a replacement kit matched the strength and stiffness, or exceeded, the performance of the OEM cross member. The result sees a highly engineered and robustly manufactured ARB steel solution for the Suzuki Jimny to ensure clearance at full droop.
